The union’s mission

• Obligation to implement all the provisions of the articles of association
• Producing and supplying high-quality and affordable products alongside obedience to the Iranian Islamic culture.
• Coordination and interaction with all the state, quasi-public, and private agencies for supporting the manufacturers and consumers of the stationery trade.
• Editing and updating the standards and necessary licenses for stationery products by interacting with ministries and custodian organizations.
• Coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration and affiliated bodies to prevent the smuggling of goods, entrance of low-quality and non-original (generic) goods, and goods similar to the industrial design of the domestic products.
• Coordination with the Iran Customs Administration and affiliated bodies to determine the real basis value of the imported stationery products and, if need be, adjust the tariff of some of the items to support the domestic industry.
• Studying and reviewing the obstacles in the way of stationery manufacturing businesses, especially facilitating the import of raw materials, distribution, sales, and presenting practical strategies for reduction or elimination of the existing obstacles.
• Interaction with the National Tax Administration to correct the taxation processes, especially value-added taxes from stationery manufacturing units.
• Coordination with all the related custodian administrations to educate and promote the consumption of high-quality domestic goods for sellers and consumers of stationery.
• Developing convergence and cooperativities between the members of the association aiming to improve the product and domestic and foreign markets in line with the country’s macroeconomics policies.
• Planning and optimizing the production force to supply the market’s stationery.

Values

• Regarding and preserving the intellectual and industrial rights of the association members, including trademarks, industrial designs, and industrial inventions.
• The obligation of the members of the union to comply with ethical principles and not exploit the technical knowledge and human resources of colleagues without earning their respect, regarding the rights of all the members of the association, and preserving justice and equality in decisions of the board of directors.
• Promotion of respect for the rights of workers and prohibition of sexual prejudice and child laboring.
• Promotion of environmental protection and conservation of energy and natural resources.
• Persuading the manufacturers to protect the Iranian Islamic culture to prevent cultural invasion regarding the use of figures, industrial design, graphics, packaging, and media advertisements.

• Self-sufficiency of the stationery industry and independence of its imports.
• Equal quality and competitive pricing of the domestic stationery products compared to distinguished world-class brands.
• Acquiring a big portion of the international marketplace with domestic stationery products.
